Amazing nude couple shoot on a rainy day in Lausanne

Every now and then, people ask me, what was your favorite nude couple shoot? I tend to refer to a rainy day in the winter of 2016. A shoot in the small but cosy studio of my friend Sean Martin in Lausanne, Switserland. For the love couple on the set, this was their first nude couple shoot ever. Or, to be even more precise ….. it was their first photo shoot ever in a studio. In the beginning, after getting undressed, they were very nervous  ….. But after a small chat, after some relaxing breathing exercises, and after listening to some nice piano music, their mindset and the energy in the studio completely changed. We all got into the flow …….

The perfect nude couple shoot

For me as a draftsman, I don’t like the majority of the photographs I take. I always have to be careful, not to immediately delete all the pictures that I take. To me, most of them are technically OK, but emotionally dead and empty. The light has been captured correctly by the camera and the sensor, but the life energy of the model(s) is lost somewhere in the translation to digital pixels. On this rainy 23th of October in 2016, the love couple and Sean have helped me to create photographs where (in my humble opinion) every single pixel radiates passion, love, beauty, intelligence and intimacy.  You guys were just amazing!
